About Me
My name is Dalynn Wilcox and I am an animation and digital artist based in the San Francisco Bay area. I have an Associates of Arts degree from Ohlone College and I will graduate from California State University East Bay in spring of 2023 with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Video and Animation.
I work with fine arts, digital media, and mixed media which I use to create fun and colorful works of art and animations. My goal is to break into the animation field with a focus on 3D modeling, 2D storyboarding, and 2D in-betweens.
Artist’s Statement
My continuous interests in almost all art mediums keep me constantly learning and improving my practice as well as gaining skills in many programs such as Adobe Animate, Procreate, Zbrush, and Photoshop. I have earned awards in 3D modeling and Graphic art, and photography. My other interests include acrylic painting, pottery, and crochet. I love working with others to make more complicated animations and projects. I have spent the better part of my college career building and expanding my experience in order to enter the workforce with a positive outlook of my professional career.
I have an insatiable desire to create and dream up new stories and characters which I someday hope to turn into full length shows and movies with a team of supportive artists who share my vision to make beautiful moving artwork for people to enjoy.
